The New York Times Company [NEW YORK] announced that James M. Follo, executive vice president and chief financial officer, plans to retire in early 2018. Mr. Follo joined The Times in January 2007 as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was named an executive vice president in April 2013.

Dan Sumner
Westinghouse Electric Company [PITTSBURGH] announced that Dan Sumner has been named chief financial officer. He had served as acting chief financial officer since May 2017. In October 2016, Sumner, 36, was named vice president of finance with responsibility for global Product Line & Region Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounting, and Global Shared Services. He had previously served as Westinghouse’s chief compliance officer and director of corporate audit. Sumner was instrumental in building Westinghouse’s global corporate audit and Sarbanes-Oxley programs, and has held key roles on several strategic initiatives since joining the company in 2010.
Federal Signal Corporation [OAK BROOK, Ill.] (NYSE: FSS) announced that its Board of Directors has promoted Ian A. Hudson to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hudson, who has served as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer since March 21, 2017, will continue to serve as the Company’s Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Hudson joined the Company in August 2013 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. From June 2012 to August 2013, Mr. Hudson served as Groupon Inc.’s Director of Accounting for Latin America and Asia Pacific and prior to that role, he worked at Ernst & Young LLP for 14 years. For several years there, he served as the Senior Audit Manager on the Company’s account.
Selecta Biosciences, Inc. [WATERTOWN, Mass.] (NASDAQ: SELB) announced the appointment of John Leaman as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy. Dr. Leaman most recently served as Head of Corporate Development at InfaCare Pharmaceutical Corp. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer of Medgenics, Inc. He also previously held senior roles at Shire plc and Devon Park Bioventures.

Carol Lowe
FLIR Systems, Inc. [WILSONVILLE, Ore.] (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced that Carol P. Lowe will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 27, 2017. Since 2012, Ms. Lowe served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sealed Air Corporation. Previously, she worked for Carlisle Companies Inc. for over ten years in numerous executive leadership positions, including President of two business units and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Lowe also served as a board member of Cytec Industries, Inc. from 2007 to 2015, and currently serves on the board of EMCOR Group, Inc., where she is a member of the Audit Committee.
Express Scripts Holding Company [ST. LOUIS] (NASDAQ: ESRX) announced that James M. Havel, who previously served as Express Scripts’ Executive Vice President, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Eric Slusser, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities, but will stay with the Company through the first quarter of 2018 in order to ensure a smooth transition. Havel joined Express Scripts in January 2015 and served as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer until September 2015. Before joining Express Scripts, Havel served as Chief Financial Officer of Major Brands Holdings. He also spent more than 34 years with Ernst & Young LLP, where he began his career in 1976.
FlexPrint LLC [PHOENIX, ARIZONA] announced that Mike Weetman will take the reigns as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mike brings over 30 years of finance leadership at well-known companies like Yahoo, DreamWorks and 20th Century Fox.
Capstead Mortgage Corporation [DALLAS] (NYSE: CMO) announced that it has appointed Lance J. Phillips as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Secretary. Mr. Phillips joins Capstead from Hunt Utility Services, LLC, where most recently he served as Vice President, Principal Accounting Officer and Controller of InfraREIT. Mr. Phillips has served in various executive capacities with the Ray L. Hunt family of companies since 2010, after beginning his career at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc. [PLEASANTON, Calif.] (NASDAQ: HAWK) announced that Charles O. Garner has been appointed chief financial officer. Garner will succeed Jerry Ulrich as Blackhawk’s CFO. Garner previously served as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Zelis Healthcare Corp. Prior to that, Garner held various leadership roles at MedAssets, Inc., including chief financial officer, chief strategy and transformation officer and head of corporate development. Before joining MedAssets, Garner held management positions at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Bain & Company and American Management Systems (now CGI).

Mark R. McCollom
Fulton Financial Corporation [LANCASTER, Pa.] (NASDAQ: FULT) announced that Mark R. McCollom will join the company as Senior Executive Vice President and a member of Fulton Financial’s senior management team. McCollom also will serve as Chief Financial Officer Designee, and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer from Philmer H. Rohrbaugh, the company’s interim CFO. McCollom is currently Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Griffin Financial Group, LLC.
BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: BKCC) announced that Donna Milia, Chief Financial Officer for BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation, has decided to leave for personal reasons. Michael Pungello, Co-Head of BlackRock’s Global Alternatives Operations group assumed the interim CFO position. Mr. Pungello is a member of BlackRock Business Operations as part of Global Fund Administration. Mr. Pungello’s service with the firm dates back to 1998, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Prior to moving to his current role in 2006, Mr. Pungello was the Chief Financial Officer for Merrill Lynch Alternative Investments. Previously he was the Director of Finance, Global Operations, and Technology. He began his career in 1979 at Deloitte & Touche.
Qumu [MINNEAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: QUMU) announced that CFO Peter Goepfrich will be leaving the company.
Biotricity Inc. [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] (OTCQB: BTCY) announced it has appointed John Ayanoglou as its new Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he served as CFO of several publicly traded companies, including Equitable Group Inc, and its subsidiary. He was also the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Xceed Mortgage Corporation.
High Ridge Brands Co. [STAMFORD, Conn.] announced the appointment of Amanda D. H. Allen to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Allen started her career in CPG & Retail investment banking at UBS and subsequently worked in corporate finance and strategic planning leadership roles at Waterworks, PepsiCo and Starwood Hotels. Most recently, Ms. Allen led finance and accounting as the CFO of Edible Arrangements.
Shenandoah Telecommunications Company [DINBURG, Va.] (NASDAQ: SHEN) announced that Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Adele Skolits has informed the company that she is resigning. Ms. Skolits has accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer of Buckeye Broadband in Toledo, Ohio. Current Chief Operating Officer Earle A. MacKenzie will delay his announced retirement to assume the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis. Mr. MacKenzie previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company from 2003 until Ms. Skolits took over that role in 2007. Mr. MacKenzie will continue his responsibilities with investor relations and business development for the Company.
Neustar, Inc. [STERLING, Va.] announced the appointment of Carolyn Ullerick as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Neustar, Ullerick was Global CFO of the LexisNexis Group. Before that, she was the CFO of Frito-Lay Canada. And before that, at Strategic Insight. While at Southam Newspaper Group, Ullerick led the financial turnaround of four newspaper operations.
Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced it has appointed Emma Reeve as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Constellation Pharmaceuticals, Emma served as interim chief financial officer and corporate controller of PAREXEL International. Previously, Emma held senior finance roles at major pharma companies including Novartis, Merck and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Emma was also the chief financial officer of two development-stage biotech companies, Inotek Pharmaceuticals and Aton Pharma. In addition to finance, Emma has held senior positions in a number of countries in areas such as marketing, supply chain management and research operations.
ShopOne Centers REIT Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that it has appointed John Roche as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Roche comes to ShopOne from Devonshire, where he spent the past year serving as a senior finance executive. Prior to Devonshire, Mr. Roche spent time at ROIC serving as Chief Financial Officer; Gramercy Capital Corp serving as Chief Financial Officer; and New Plan serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

John Hart
Great Lakes Management Services Organization [GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.] announced the appointment of John P. Hart as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Mr. Hart served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of National Surgical Healthcare, Inc.
SpotHero [CHICAGO] announced that Connie Capone has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Capone served as the CFO and Chief Administrative Officer at GeoDigital. After earning her MBA from Harvard Business School, she spent more than 10 years as a partner at Chicago-based JK&B Capital. Her earlier roles include a wide range of operational, consulting and financial positions at PwC, Baxter and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Gusto [SAN FRANCISCO] announced it has hired Mike Dinsdale as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer. Mike Dinsdale previously was with DocuSign and DoorDash.
Midland States Bancorp, Inc. [EFFINGHAM, Ill.] (NASDAQ: MSBI) announced that Kevin L. Thompson, Chief Financial Officer, resigned for personal reasons from the Company and Midland States Bank, its wholly-owned subsidiary, effective October 20, 2017. Jeffrey G. Ludwig, Executive Vice President of the Company, will serve as Chief Financial Officer while the Company in the interim. Mr. Ludwig previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank from November 2006 through November 2016. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ludwig held the positions of Associate Director, Corporate Reporting, for Zimmer Holdings, Inc. from 2005 to 2006; Director of Corporate Accounting for Novellus Systems, Inc. from 2002 to 2005; and Senior Manager—Audit & Advisory Services for KPMG LLP from 1993 to 2002.
VT Group [CHANTILLY, Va.] announced the hiring of Alicia R. Townes as Sr. Vice President and CFO. Alicia has held finance and accounting senior leadership positions at several government contracting companies, including Vistronix, Sotera, GDI, Vangent, and Deltek.

Holly Lim
TuneIn [SAN FRANCISCO] announced the appointment of Holly Lim to Chief Financial Officer. Prior to TuneIn, Lim served as CFO at Soundcloud since 2016. She held prior senior finance and operations roles at Google, Stetson, Comedy Central & New Line Cinema.
Avaya Inc. [SANTA CLARA, CA] announced it has appointed Patrick O’Malley as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. David Vellequette, who has served as Avaya’s CFO for the past five years, will remain as Senior Vice President of Finance until the end of 2017 to ensure a smooth transition. Mr. O’Malley joins Avaya following a 30-year career with Seagate Technology, where he served in a variety of roles, including as CFO from 2008 to 2015.
Adgero Biopharmaceuticals Holdings, Inc. [PRINCETON, NJ] announced that it has appointed John Liatos as its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Prior to joining Adgero, Mr. Liatos was the Co-Founding Partner at Aceras BioMedical, LLC. Mr. Liatos served as the Co-founder and CFO of Huxley Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as well as the Co-founder and CFO of Sherrington Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Liatos also served as the CFO of a life sciences investment fund, Paramount BioSciences, LLC. Prior to that, Mr. Liatos served as a Senior Associate at Gefinor (USA), Inc. and as a Senior Associate in the Financial Reporting and Consolidations group at RJR Nabisco, Inc.
X Rail Entertainment, Inc. [LAS VEGAS, NV] (OTC PINK: XREE) announced the promotion of Wanda Witoslawski to the position of Chief Financial Officer from her Controller position. Ms Witoslawski replaces Wayne Bailey in this position who moves on as CEO of XTRN, a publicly traded company.
