Schindler Elevator Corporation [MORRISTOWN, NJ] announced that Sneh Virdi has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer for its US Operations. Ms. Virdi joins Schindler from Legrand, where she was Vice President Finance, Electrical Wiring Systems, North and Central America. Prior to Legrand, she held various positions with United Technologies.
Unum Group [CHATTANOOGA, TN] (NYSE: UNM) announced that John F. “Jack” McGarry, executive vice president and chief financial officer since 2015, will retire from the company effective October 31, 2019. Steven A. Zabel, president of Unum’s closed block of business, will assume the role of executive vice president and chief financial officer effective July 1, at which time McGarry will move into a role supporting a smooth transition until his retirement. Zabel joined Unum in 2013 as senior vice president and chief risk officer. He became president of Unum’s closed block of business in 2015. He began his career with Ernst & Young as an auditor of life and health insurance companies, then moved to Americo Life where he was responsible for financial reporting. Later he spent more than 9 years with Genworth Financial in senior finance roles, including chief financial officer for insurance products.
Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. [NEW YORK, NY] (NYSE: ESRT) announced that David A. Karp will be stepping down from his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for personal reasons, effective August 1, 2019. In accordance with the Company’s bylaws, Andrew J. Prentice, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer, will serve as acting chief financial officer while the Company conducts a search for a permanent successor.
Legacy Education Alliance, Inc. [CAPE CORAL, FL] (OTCQB: LEAI) announced it has appointed Michael English as its Interim Chief Financial Officer (“ICFO”). Mr. English succeeds Christian A.J. Baeza, former Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, whose employment with the Company terminated on May 20, 2019. Since October 2016 through April 2019, English served in a variety of CFO and CFO consulting roles including, CFO advisory partner at Aventine Hill Partners, Alternate Health Corp., and Peak Health Corp. From July 2011 to July 2016, he served as CFO for Zix Corporation and Controller from June 2007 to June 2011. Prior to that, Mr. English was Vice President of Finance for Advanced Fiber Communications from March 2004 through June 2005, and Vice President of Finance for Marconi, PLC from June 1999 to February 2004. Previously, he served as Division Controller for the Access Division of RELTEC Corporation, Division Controller at Rockwell Automation and Division Controller at Reliance Electric Company.
Munich Re Life US [NEW YORK, NY] announced that Quentin Marsh has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, US Life and Health. Marsh most recently was Vice President in the Global Financial Solutions unit of Reinsurance Group of America (RGA). Marsh began his career at EY, in the company’s Global Insurance Center and progressed through successive leadership positions before joining RGA in 2012.
Kymeta [REDMOND, Washington] announced that Walter Z. Berger has been hired as President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Berger most recently served as COO and CFO of Nuvectra, Before joining Nuvectra, he served in senior executive positions at AppDynamics, which was acquired by Cisco. He also held senior executive positions at SoftLayer, which was acquired by IBM, and Leap Wireless. Additionally, he has held several executive operating, financial, and general leadership roles in various industry verticals.

Derek Andersen
Snap Inc. [SANTA MONICA, CA] (NYSE: SNAP) announced the appointment of Derek Andersen, currently Snap’s Vice President of Finance, as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Andersen will take over the responsibilities of interim CFO Lara Sweet. Snap also announced the appointment of Lara Sweet as Chief People Officer. In this new role, Ms. Sweet will continue as Chief Accounting Officer until a replacement is named. Andersen has served as Snap’s Vice President of Finance since July 2018. Andersen was previously employed at Amazon.com, Inc., serving in a variety of roles over seven years, most recently as Vice President of Finance supporting Amazon’s digital video business. Andersen also previously served in roles at Fox Interactive Media, including as Senior Vice President, Finance and Business Operations for IGN, and as Vice President, Finance.

Akhil Sharma
DentaQuest [BOSTON, MA] announced that Akhil Sharma recently became Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Before joining DentaQuest, Sharma was Co-President and CFO of North American Dental Group. Prior to that, he was the President and CFO of Enlivant. He also spent eight years with Fortress Investment Group, primarily focusing on their senior living private equity investments. Sharma started his career in investment banking at Lazard.
DNAnexus, Inc. [MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA] announced the appointment of Scott Gibson as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining DNAnexus, Gibson served as CFO at Conviva. Previously, he was CFO at several semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, and networking companies.
GeoStabilization International (“GSI”) [DENVER, CO] announced the appointment of Chris Howard as Chief Financial Officer. Howard was most recently Vice President, Finance at Accudyne, with financial oversight for the Sundyne division. Prior to Accudyne, he spent five years in senior financial positions at Technip FMC plc, ultimately serving as Finance Director for the Surface International business. Previously, Howard held senior finance roles at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. and Precision Castparts Corporation, among other leading industrial companies.
Lannett Company, Inc. [PHILADELPHIA, PA] (NYSE: LCI) announced that the company’s chief financial officer (CFO), Martin Galvan, will retire on August 30, 2019, following the planned submission of the company’s Form 10-K for fiscal year 2019. Galvan will continue in his role as CFO until then and thereafter serve as a consultant, as necessary.
Speakap [NEW YORK, NY] announced the addition of Ralph De Kleermaeker, who will serve as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. De Kleermaeker most recently served as CFO and COO at Bynder. Prior to Bynder, Ralph was active in private equity for a period of 8 years.
Western Industries Plastic Products LLC [WINFIELD, KS] announced the appointment of Gage Hotchkiss as Chief Financial Officer. Hotchkiss most recently served with Alpha Guardian as Director Manufacturing FP&A and prior to that he was with Sensata Technologies for two years as Director of Finance. From 2006 to 2016 he served in a series of senior finance roles with CoActive Technologies, most recently as Controller.
Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. [SECAUCUS, NJ] (NYSE: VSI) announced that Charles Knight has been appointed Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Knight was most recently Interim Chief Financial Officer for The Vitamin Shoppe, a role he assumed on April 8, 2019. He joined The Vitamin Shoppe in July 2018 as Senior Vice President – Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining the Vitamin Shoppe, Mr. Knight was most recently Senior Vice President-Corporate Controller (2010-2018) at Toys “R” Us, Inc. He was employed at Toys “R” Us for approximately 28 years, starting as Special Project Analyst in 1990, and held positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President Controller Toysrus.com (2001-2002), Vice President of Toys “R” US Corporate Accounting (2002-2004), Vice President Corporate Controller, Toys “R” Us, Inc. (2004-2010). Prior to joining Toys “R” Us, he was a Senior Accountant at Deloitte & Touche LLP starting in 1986.
Socket Mobile, Inc. [NEWARK, CA] (NASDAQ: SCKT) announced that Lynn Zhao has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Finance and Administration, Secretary and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Zhao has served as the Company’s Controller since January 2015 and was appointed as Vice President and Controller in September 2017. Ms. Zhao previously served as the Company’s General Accounting Manager from December 2000 through January 2015.
Towerstream Corporation [MIDDLETOWN, RI] (OTCQB:TWER) announced that John “Jack” Macdonald, Chief Financial Officer, has resigned effective June 7, 2019, to pursue another career opportunity.
Enfission LLC [RESTON, VA], a joint venture of Lightbridge Corporation (NASDAQ: LTBR) and Framatome, announced the appointment of Eugene Dongweck as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Enfission, Mr. Dongweck held a variety of senior roles at Framatome, and currently serves as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Previously, Mr. Dongweck served as Audit Manager and Senior Accountant at Deloitte.
Finjan Holdings, Inc. [EAST PALO ALTO, CA] (NASDAQ: FNJN) announced that Jevan Anderson will join the company on June 3, 2019 as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Michael Noonan who is departing to explore new pursuits. Anderson recently was Senior Vice President, Corporate Advisory for Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL). Prior to JLL, Jevan spent 10 years as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology Mergers & Acquisitions for Wells Fargo and RBC Capital Markets. Prior to his 17 year investment banking career, Jevan held roles in management consulting, strategic planning, corporate development and investor relations.

Roger Blanchette
Skyword [BOSTON, MA] announced it has appointed Roger Blanchette as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Blanchette joins Skyword from NuoDB, a database cloud provider, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Blanchette was also the Chief Financial Officer of Ektron. Blanchette also has served as CFO at medical device companies, Dune Medical and Cadent. Prior to Cadent, he was CFO of DataSynapse. Blanchette succeeds Tyler Hoffman who has served as Chief Financial Officer of Skyword since 2010.
Colony Bankcorp, Inc. [FITZGERALD, GA] (NASDAQ: CBAN) announced that Terry L. Hester, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company, has informed the Company that he intends to retire on December 31, 2019, after 42 years of service to Colony. Anticipating his decision, Colony has completed an executive search and has named Tracie Youngblood as Hester’s successor. Youngblood is expected to join the Company in mid-June 2019. Youngblood was most recently Senior Vice President and Controller of Fidelity Bank in Atlanta, which is being acquired by Ameris Bank. She has held similar positions with Square 1 Bank in Durham, North Carolina, and Ameris Bank in Moultrie, Georgia, and Georgian Bank in Atlanta.
CURE Pharmaceutical [OXNARD, CA] (OTC: CURR) announced the addition of Michael Redard, who will serve as CURE’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to CURE, Redard held CFO, vice president and general manager positions with several venture capital and private equity-backed companies, including Inogen, Medical Analysis Systems (acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific), CDTi Advanced Materials and Abrisa Technologies.
Cantel Medical Corp. [LITTLE FALLS, N.J.] (NYSE: CMD) announced that Peter Clifford has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. As part of this change in leadership, Shaun Blakeman has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Clifford served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Company. As a result of Mr. Clifford’s promotion, Blakeman will take on the role of SVP and Chief Financial Officer. Blakeman worked for Cantel from 2016 to 2018 as VP of Finance for Cantel’s Medical division. Most recently, Shaun was Senior Finance Director at Medtronic. Prior to working at Cantel, he held leadership roles with increasing responsibility for almost five years at IDEX Corporation.
Oracle Elevator [TAMPA, Fla.] announced that Rick Morris joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Rick’s background includes five years of consulting as Interim CFO to various companies across the US and England preceded by 12 years as CFO to private equity backed companies in multiple industries. Earlier in his career he held senior finance roles in large multinational companies where he lived and worked in the US, Europe and Asia.
AKHAN Semiconductor [CHICAGO] announced that Robert Mohr will join AKHAN in the role of Chief Financial Officer. Mohr joins AKHAN from his current role of Consultant at CFO Express International.
L&R Distributors [BROOKLYN, N.Y.] hired Craig Zumbo as Chief Financial Officer. His expereince includes Senior Vice President of Finance at Drive Devilbiss Healthcare.
Pine Brook [NEW YORK] announced that Joseph Kopilak has joined the firm as chief financial officer. He is also the chief compliance officer and a partner of the firm. Prior to joining Pine Brook, Kopilak was CFO and CCO of Roundtable Investment Partners/Truvvo Partners. Previously, he spent six years at J.P. Morgan, most recently as the CFO of J.P. Morgan Partners Global Investors fund.
RentPath [ATLANTA] announced that Richard (Rick) Martin, who most recently served as CFO of Symphony Health Solutions, replaces Kim Payne as Chief Financial Officer of RentPath. Martin also held the CFO role at Delta Career Education Corporation. Martin previously served as CFO of several other private-equity-backed companies including DecisionOne Corporation, General Fiber Corporation and Strategic Distribution, Inc. Prior roles include Vice President Finance, Treasurer, Principal Accounting Officer for Maxxim Medical, Inc. and Vice President Finance, Treasurer, Secretary (and interim CFO) for Pameco Corporation.

Ivy Ono
Bertram Capital [FOSTER CITY, Calif.] announced the promotion of Ivy Ono to Chief Financial Officer. Ono, previously the Controller at Bertram, has been with the firm for more than 10 years. Bertram also announced the retirement of Partner and Managing Director Ingrid Swenson, effective June 3, 2019. Ms. Swenson served as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for the firm. Ono joined Bertram in 2008 as the firm’s Assistant Controller. Prior to Bertram, Ms. Ono was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Investment Management audit practice. Previous to PricewaterhouseCoopers, she was at Novogradac and Company, LLP where she focused on audit and tax work for real estate investments.
First Sound Bank [SEATTLE] (OTCBB: FSWA) announced that Debby K. McDaniel has joined the bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. McDaniel most recently served as CFO of The Bank of Washington. Before her time at The Bank of Washington she was with Mission Bank in Bakersfield, California where she served in the capacity of Senior Vice President of Operations and Information Technology. Prior to her time at Mission Bank, she was with Eastside Commercial Bank in Bellevue as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. In addition, she previously served as the CFO of NCW Community Bank in Wenatchee.
Canterbury Park [SHAKOPEE, Minn.] (NASDAQ: CPHC) announced the hiring of Randy J. Dehmer as Chief Financial Officer. Dehmer returns to Canterbury Park where he was employed from 2007 to 2013, serving as controller from March 2012 to August 2013. Dehmer will be leaving a position as financial controller at Clearfield, Inc. to join Canterbury on May 30, 2019. Dehmer began his career at Ernst & Young, serving there as senior accountant until he first joined Canterbury Park.
Centage Corporation [NATICK, Mass.] announced that Jason Lin has joined as chief financial officer. Lin takes over from John Orlando, who recently announced his retirement from the company where he served over 15 years as CFO and executive vice president. Prior to joining Centage, Lin held financial leadership positions at Zoominfo, Monster Worldwide, IkaSystems and TripAdvisor.
